About

Professional glass and aluminum workshop providing custom glass cutting, double glazed windows, storefront glass, and mirror installation.

About Alu Glace Service

Alu Glace Service is a specialized glazing and metalwork workshop based in central Nice, handling bespoke glass cutting alongside complete architectural installations. They manufacture and fit double-glazed window units, secure commercial shopfronts, custom-sized mirrors, and matching aluminum framework for local properties.

Whether you are upgrading an older apartment near Carabacel to modern acoustic standards or replacing a cracked display window for a local retail shop, the team provides tailored solutions suited to the Mediterranean coastal climate. Their craftsmen prioritize accurate on-site measurements and neat installation, ensuring both energy efficiency and durable weather resistance.

Located on Rue Tonduti de l'Escarène, the workshop welcomes walk-ins and project consultations during regular weekday business hours. To discuss custom dimensions or arrange an on-site evaluation for your home or business, plan a visit between Monday and Friday.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Alu Glace Service fit double glazing into existing window frames typical of older buildings in Nice?

Yes, they can assess your current woodwork or aluminum structures to determine if custom double-glazed panes can be retrofitted without altering the original facade.

Do I need an appointment to have a pane of glass cut to size at the workshop?

Walk-ins are accepted during standard weekday opening hours, though bringing precise measurements or a template will speed up your order.

What types of glass are recommended for street-level storefronts in downtown Nice?

Laminated safety glass or reinforced security glazing is typically recommended to provide impact resistance and comply with commercial insurance standards.
